Funding for Start-ups and Small Business
Start-ups and small business owners frequently ask where they can get access to capital for their new or expanding businesses.  To help answer that question, a panel of experts were brought together on August 16, 2017 to share their insights and information on services available in Contra Costa County.  The event was recorded, and the video is available for your information: Presentation on Access to Capital. Contact information for the panelists is available at the end of the presentation.
  
Business Crisis Resiliency
The Town of Paradise and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce learned first hand how businesses can rebound based on preparation before a crisis and finding resources afterwards to reopen doors.  Guest speakers from the two Chambers of Commerce  shared their experiences with destructive fires and lessons learned, and a representative of the Small Business Administration shared information on resources available to assist businesses get back on their feet at a workshop on April 10, 2019.  Watch the workshop video on Crisis Resiliency for tips on how you can minimize impacts to your business with some advance planning, and what might happen if you don't!
   

Small Business, Big Contracts
